On 16th November, 2025, Apollo Cancer Centres of Apollo Multispecialty Hospitals organized an awareness programme "Check-olate - a Sweet Reminder to Check Yourself"- a camp focused on breast cancer awareness. A number of oncologists from Apllo Cancer Centres discussed on early detection, screening and early diagnosis of breast
cancer.
Mrs.Sumitra Barat, an Executive of Hitaishini participated in the programme as a breast cancer survivor and explained the importance of early detection with her experience of journey for recovery from the disease.
